Belinsky - Master of posters

Of all French movie poster designers, Constantin Belinsky must be the one whose name is most closely linked to genre cinema, which suited his personality and style so well and which he served with such amazing loyalty for 60 years. From the beginning of the 1930s until the end of the 1980s, from the golden age of American major studio B-movies to the Italian exploitation cinema of the sixties, from the obscurity of the most improbable low-budget pictures to the explosion of European erotic cinema in the 1970s, via the deluge of kung fu movies from Hong Kong, Belinsky put his talents to work for all the varieties of alternative popular cinema. I hope that someday a real tribute will be paid to this great artist (Christophe, we'll do it... or die tryin' !).
