Aloha from Hawaii

The classic print Hawaiian shirts of the 1950s stand alone as expressions of mid-century art on textiles. So many different patterns and themes were designed during this period... Something in the design, the detail and the separation between the colors has always amazed me. There's a quality to these old shirts which even the best shirts of today can't reach. I'm not wearing that kind everyday (actually, why not?!) but it has an incredible touch of class, no ?!
