In the late sixties, Davie Allan & The Arrows were responsible of some soudtracks that are now viewed as classics. The most notable of the movies they worked for are the famous cult movies: The Wild Angels, Devil's Angels, The Glory Stompers, Born Losers...Davie's 1990s film work includes Jim Jarmusch's Night On Earth, Roger Corman's Not Like Us, MTV's Road Rules, Psycho Sisters, and From Dusk 'til Dawn, 2.
In 1999, they won the “LA Weekly Music Award” for Best Instrumental Band.
