In the mid 70's in Paris, Olivia Clavel, Lulu Larsen, Fury, Jean Rouzaud, Kiki & Loulou Picasso formed the Bazooka Group, an art collective who took the French comics and art scene by storm. Controversial use of text (which becomes an integral part of the image), pioneers of Photoshop, most of their works appeared in side-publications to the "Libération" newspaper, as well as on record sleeves of various punk and alternative bands. After their split in 78, its members were willingly absorbed by the media and publishing sector. Solo works would still appear at irregular intervals. Late 2002, they launched an all new website, Un Regard Moderne.
