French Fanzine guru, Pierre Charles, was truly prolific and dedicated his life to b-movies, weird literature...actually to all the stuff that inspires me here ! Photographer Laetitia Melierres pays him tribute with this great photo. Pierre is here, surrounded by Cine Zine Zone issues, Le Fulmar and other fanzines he published...Also, comics and posters representing his passion. Notice, the stapler, which is his own one, that he used to staple his handmade fanzines and one of the first self editing fanzine he done as he was child ! Thx again to Christophe Bier.

Ciné Choc

In 1984, "fanzine king" Pierre charles became editor of Ciné Choc. This mag, dedicated to fantasy, erotism, action, was delightful ! From Dario Argento to Max Pecas, Pierre Charles and his team (Jean-Pierre Jackson, Marc Toullec, Caroline Vié...), had a great impact... at least on me !
