Magnus - italian gore

Magnus ( Roberto Raviola, 1939-1996 ) is an Italian comics artist. In 1964, he meets Luciano Secchi (Max Bunker) and the publisher Corno. He dashes then into the comics under the name of Magnus. He creates a large number of heroes for the pocket-sizes comics for adults, called fumetti per adulti in Italy, with his official scriptwriter: Max Bunker.
Magnus is becoming again fashionable this time with the republication of "Nécron", érotico / gore, at Cornelius. His drawing, very clean, was widely inspired by Alex Raymond's line for Flash Gordon. But, it is his inspiration, marked by the eroticism and the macabre, that make him a unique author.
