On October 30, 1938, a Sunday comic strip featuring Charlie Chan made its debut in newspapers across the United States. Drawn by noted artist Alfred Andriola, the series lasted for nearly four years, ending on May 31, 1942. In 1980, french editor Futuropolis, re-issued 1938 and 1939 strips. A must read for the Fu Manchu and Wild Wild West Frisco harbor's fog amateur...as I am.
