Jason Dark (pseudonym of Helmut Rellergert) is almost certainly the most popular and most prolific of all German fiction writers in the history of German literature, as well as one of the best-selling. Since 1973 he started publishing horror detective stories of the pulp fiction variety, centred on an English Scotland Yard inspector named John Sinclair. Haute Tension. Hachette. 1980's.

Wow, I didn't know that the John Sinclairs were ever translated into French! Pity though that they're so God awful. I have major respect for anyone who is able to churn out novel after novel week after week for years on end, but they really are dreadful and absolutely unhorrific. They are to horror what "Derrick" is to hardboiled fiction.
actually I don't really know the serie...I only read 2 or 3 novels as teen...and I don't keep a great souvenir ! but the covers of this french edition are cool !
jamais lu... faudrait que j'essaye mais ça m'emballe moyen. semblerait que je n'ai pas tort...
