Aguigui Mouna

Born André Dupont (1911-1999), Aguigui Mouna's first manifesto was to remain on a tree for 16 hours in Golfe-Juan in 1956. Known in Paris all around the "Quartier Latin" (universities district in Paris), you often saw him on a bicycle with a red phone, selling his self-edited mag "Le Mouna Frères". He was nominated "chevalier des Arts et des Lettres" by the minister of Culture Jack Lang. His philosophy was a mix of anarchism, ecology, peace and humour! Kind of modern Ferdinand Lop. Read more in Cavanna, Cabu and Anne Galois, "Aguigui Mouna, Gueule ou crève", Dossiers d'Aquitaine, Bordeaux, 2004.

Souvenir de l'avoir croisé plusieurs fois dans des manifs.

A l'époque où il tenait son bar, il piquait les flingues des gamins du quartier et en échange leur offrait un chocolat chaud et des ballons.
Un Pacifiste d'une autre époque.
