2 of my favourites. I guess he "E.L" initials on the Monsters box stand for Elmer Lehnhardt, Aladdin Industries art director during the 1960's and 1970's who created The Beverly Hillbillies, Bonanza, The Beatles, Batman, Gomer Pyle, Hogan's Heroes, It's About Time, Laugh-In, Rat Patrol, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Dr. Doolittle, The Flying Nun, Gentle Ben and Land of the Giants... Anybody to confirm ?

Mr. Lehnhardt lived across the street from me in Nashville while I was young. These paintings look just like the paintings that he would do.
He also did the artwork for Emergency, the TV show starring Randolph Mantooth and Kevin Tighe, that aired during the 70s.
I apprenticed with Elmer beginning in '83 until his sudden death in '85. The Movie Monsters kit? Yes... you have your man.
I am his son. Those drawings are his work. He always enjoyed putting his initials in the drawings. i.e. His initials are on the hitching post in one of his Gunsmoke lunch boxes
