The Alligator People (1959) with Beverly Garland, Bruce Bernett, former Tarzan...and Lon Chaney Jr, is one of the weirdest movies I've seen! Forget the story, (from a Louisiana legend telling that a monster once roamed and preyed in the late 18th and early 19th) and about a basic mad scientist who, as a result of a lab experiment involving alligator hormones gone awry, transforms injured men into alligator-human! But enjoy the unusual monster and the creepy atmosphere...
