Beatnik row

Vic Martin began his comics career in the early 1950s, doing fillers and back-ups for Ziff-Davis Comics, including gag pages like 'G.I. Fun', 'Private Dopey' and 'Army Fun' in G.I. Joe. Other credits include 'Earl, Rich Rabbit', 'Shorty Pampas', and other fillers for St. John Publishing and Hillman Periodicals. In the 1960s, he was present in 'Sick' by Feature Comics and in the following decade, he contributed to Marvel's 'Crazy'. In 1973-74, he worked on the 'Little Orphan Annie' daily and Sunday page for the Chicago Tribune-New York News Syndicate. He was also a regular contributor to Major Magazines' 'Cracked' in the 1970s. Pierre Charles world

French Fanzine guru, Pierre Charles, was truly prolific and dedicated his life to b-movies, weird literature...actually to all the stuff that inspires me here ! Photographer Laetitia Melierres pays him tribute with this great photo. Pierre is here, surrounded by Cine Zine Zone issues, Le Fulmar and other fanzines he published...Also, comics and posters representing his passion. Notice, the stapler, which is his own one, that he used to staple his handmade fanzines and one of the first self editing fanzine he done as he was child ! Thx again to Christophe Bier.
