In 1882 the Musée Grévin opens its doors in Paris. The Grévin wax museum features great and small events of French history, including a large part about French Terror, name of revolutionary period. Its located on the right bank where they find theatres and popular amusement places. I found these old pix of Grévin. Smells like an old good horror movie, right ?

Fin de siècle - Ralph Marsault
Back to the 80's-90's with some cool hardcore guys living in Paris and London. These portraits (some 200) are from a book, self-published in 1995 by the author-photograph Ralph Marsault.

Midgets and giants
I found these illustrations cool enough to be put here. So, here they are, straight from "Les Nains et les Géants" by Edouard Garnier, published in Paris in 1884.
