

Hanns Heinz Ewers (1871-1943) was a German actor, poet, philosopher, and writer of short stories and novels. While he wrote on a wide range of subjects, he is today mainly known for his works of horror, particularly his trilogy of novels centered around the adventures of Frank Braun.
