Angel Love is a uniquely different and utterly brilliant comic published by DC Comics from 1986 to 1987. Charming, intelligent, amusing, dramatic and unpatronizing, it was completely written and drawn by Barbara Slate whose humourous cartoon style would mask the otherwise quite-often real and serious nature of a series which covered issues such as sexual abuse, drug addiction and pregnancy.
