Arthur
Radebaugh, 1906-1974, was a pioneering commercial illustrator and futuristic prognosticator. He was also a pioneer in the use of airbrush. He created futuristic worlds, filled with machines, skycrapers and robots. His utopian sensibility is now nostalgic and magic. After he passed away, he was forgotten by all but a few curious individuals who saw his old ads or magazine covers. He reminds me a little the art of Frank R.
Paul with less fantasy but as much powerful and visionary.
